Actually the house is off of Premery Dr!.The rear of the house faces Manon Way!

I know, because I live on Lucca Way! Hate this Neighborhood. It’s gotten really bad since they closed down the flat tops. Section 8 people and Welfare do not take care of the Property they rent and the Home Owners Association does not enforce the rules.

Poor woman! No reason for her to go through this. I’m glad the cowards are such bad shots, and hope they are caught soon.

    • Anonymous on September 15, 2014 at 11:30 am

That is Lexington Park??? Which would mean that you are one of the Lex Pk people you are talking about????

      • Jack Wagon on September 15, 2014 at 1:24 pm

        Your logic is flawed.

        • brian on October 24, 2014 at 10:56 am

I dont think “logic” was put in play on this particular post Jack.

Westbury Community use to be a nice Neighborhood. But for the last 6 years, it has really gotten bad, especially since they closed down the flat tops. TONS of Section 8 people moved in and there you go! People hang out on the street and party until 3:30am!! The Home Owners Association (Queentree) has NOT done their job in keeping up. It’s not being taken care of very well. The rules are not enforced and when there is a disturbance on the street…if you call the Police, they NEVER show up!

    • Marilyn on October 24, 2014 at 5:50 pm

They closed flat tops over 15 years ago. Its sad that you think all the people came from the particular neighborhood. Did you ever think “these people” came from your neighborhood? Just because you lived in slum doesn’t mean your are a slum. Actually, if you check the news often- you would see that these things happen in all neighborhoods. SMH-

How does this go from “One witness reported seeing a dark van pull up and a shooter firing multiple rounds from a handgun…” to “the victim was walking in the area of Premery Way with friends when they were approached by an unidentified black male suspect”?

    • Anonymous on September 16, 2014 at 9:11 am

I guess the van pulled up and the guy got out of the van and approached them before he fired the shots

      • brian on October 24, 2014 at 10:59 am

Did the van have 22″s or spinner hubcaps?

    • Kenny Chezz on September 16, 2014 at 9:54 am

Black man in a black vehicle…How is that hard to understand? Don’t try and defend a race. Not going to work here or any other story on this news site.

      • somdforever on September 16, 2014 at 12:49 pm

WTF are you yapping about? How does my comment equate to trying to defend a race? I could give a rat’s a** if they were purple with yellow polka dots. Where does it say anything about a “black” van? The witness said it was a “dark” van. Funny how the Offical Press Release (which is normally released by the law enforcement agency) doesn’t mention anything about a vehicle.

        • Kenny Chezz on September 16, 2014 at 2:52 pm

          Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnd your done..

          • whoa on October 24, 2014 at 10:04 am

Describing a suspect as he was previously described in the article is not “defending a race,” as you so eloquently put it.

Criminal was allowed to carry a gun but she wasn’t to defend herself

    • Jenn on October 27, 2014 at 7:40 am

I get what you’re saying, but the criminal wasn’t “allowed” to carry a gun, he chose to do so illegally. I am totally for concealed carry permits, especially since criminals aren’t going to follow laws – so those who are innocent should be able to carry to defend ourselves.

  9. fred50 on October 24, 2014 at 9:08 pm

The state needs to start issuing carry permits so these clowns have a reasonable chance of being shot. The state simply needs to pass a law that members of the hood can’t collect disability if they are shot during a crime or go out on stress for fear of being shot.
