O’Donnell Statement on the July Jobs Report

August 3, 2012

“The employment report for the month of July is further evidence of the failure of Washington policy makers to address this economic downturn in an effective manner. The increase in the unemployment rate to 8.3% despite the economy adding 163,000 jobs is unacceptable. Politicians like Steny Hoyer who have spent 31 years in Washington DC have neither the understanding nor the hands on experience in the private sector to create the number of jobs needed. Small business, not government, is the economic engine that powers America.

“Out of control government spending by politicians who cannot decide priorities combined with an avalanche of government regulations and uncertain tax rates has stifled business to the point where expansion, investment and hiring have all but disappeared. As a member of Congress, I will use my real world experience to free up the hard working people of Southern Maryland, Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties from the government implemented barriers that have stalled our economic recovery. Clearly, it’s time to make a change.”

You know truthfully I’m sick of all of the politicians, You guys can get ur head out of your asses to fix the problems right in front of you. I still believe that if you had middle class Women in government that knows how to run a household on a budget running our government we would have all these problems. So I’m sorry Mr. President, and Mr. Romney I honestly think you both will make positive changes to our country in your own way but you woln’t fix the bigger issues.

Absolutely. Mr. O’Donnell practices the very same work ethic that we as true Americans should embrace. We need him as our Congressman.

With all due respect Mr. O’Donnell after days, months and years of reading your post in all articles all I ever see from you is criticism of other politician’s and never a plan on how you can fix anything. So maybe in you next article that you write could you please explain why we should even first continue reading your articles but most importantly why we should vote for you.

I agree with Mr. O’Donnell that we need to make a change. All the governmental tug-of-wars going on in Congress, reflects what the special interest groups want, not the will of the people. It is getting to the point where we are needing to place on referendum any important issues in order for the will of the people to be heard.

I am not a fan of bussiness as usual and that is all we have had for a very long time. That is the reason our economy is in the fix it is in right now. It’s time to stop talking about it and effect change! if they can’t do it, we must!
