As the year 2012 comes to an end, we realize it has been quite a year for us. In the past 12 months, our site had just under eleven million page views. We also amassed over 10,800 likes on our Facebook page. We continued to deliver the news first, as it happens, live from the scene, whenever possible. We have continued with our food reviews of locally owned establishments and started a new weekly column, Wednesday’s Pet. We have often provided exclusive articles, as well as exclusive video and photos from the scene. And in 2013, we will continue to provide our readers with the most up-to-date breaking news as well as articles on happenings from around the area and even news that affects Southern Maryland from our State Capital and Washington.
For 2013 we have a new scanner page that allows our readers the ability to listen to live broadcasts from police and fire. Readers can listen to scanner feeds from Calvert, St. Mary’s, and Charles County as well as fire feeds from Prince Georges County and Pax River Naval Base. Our scanner page not only offers the most feeds but also offers unlimited listeners.
As we close out 2012, we wish all our readers a very Happy New Year and a great year ahead.
