    Another example of great parenting.

    • Anonymous on July 12, 2015 at 9:02 pm

Parenting has nothing to do with this incident. These are 3 adults. Find something else to post if you must run your trap.

      • Anonymous on July 14, 2015 at 7:44 am

Parenting has something to do with it. My parents were strict but fair and all 4 of their kids turned out great with good jobs and no record. The next door neighbor growing up had 3 kids that ran wild with no discipline and only 1 has a job but they all have felony records. So I would say parenting plays at least a small role in how someone turns out.

You say it as if the park suddenly became that way overnight. It’s been that way for a long time.

The County Commission needs to have installed the Sniper system that will pin point gun shots within 60 feet. This will insure fast alerts and an exact area to look for evidence just in cast there are not good people around as here that reported it in a timely fashion. For the trolls yes the system can tell the difference between gun shots and fire works.

    • Leeroy Jenkins on July 13, 2015 at 6:12 am

      “Ensure”, “For the trolls,”

Fred, a couple of literature courses at CSM could do you wonders. I’m sure that a sniper system would pinpoint a gunshot to a gnat’s a**; however, how’s that really solving anything when everyone in the county shoots from their backyard? That was rhetorical, just some food for thought. Overall, great post Fred50. You brought a lot of salient and good points up for discussion.

      • Anonymous on July 13, 2015 at 12:40 pm

No, he really didn’t bring up any valid points.

    • anonymous on July 13, 2015 at 7:39 am

      You’ve smoked yourself stupid fred.

  10. Joe on July 13, 2015 at 7:34 am

Why don’t we just issue guns and ammo to all of the hood rats in the Park and let them kill each other off. Problem solved.

  11. Anonymous on July 13, 2015 at 7:45 am

You have a cost estimate for this? A proposal to local law enforcement for incorporation of this system and the logistics involved in such an endeavor? If the answer is no, then please remain quiet and return to normal life.

I feel we were cheated. Not one neck tattoo in the bunch. At least the one dude has some cool looking chest tattoos.

  14. The Mad Poster on July 13, 2015 at 9:45 am

There needs to be a purge where good citizens can go “hunting” an clean our own neighborhoods up.

  15. Anonymous on July 13, 2015 at 10:49 am

Why in the world are they even allowed bail if there were shots fired? This is crazy. I heard these shots and it scared the crap out of me for my family, there needs to be more police presence around that area. It’s becoming an every other day thing now.

    • grammar nazi on July 13, 2015 at 1:40 pm

I agree about needing more patrol cops in this area. Howeever, there is a problem many of the citizens of St Mary’s county may not be aware of. The Sheriffs office is having a great deal of trouble filling vacancies for new deputies. The problem is two fold.

      1. Sheriff Cmeron and the upper management at the Sheriffs office are extremely hard on the exisiting officers. We are loosing good deputies to other agencies because they don’t like working for a Sheriff who is so hard. I’m not judging on what’s right or wrong, I’m just telling you what I know (Thru good sources)

      2. The general lack of respect (nationwide) for police officers is pushing good people away from Law enforcement. Take a good look at Baltimore and Ferguson, MO. Would you want to work in Baltimore where the States Attorney and the Mayor are looking to stab you in the back? I sure wouldn’t. Now both those areas and others are reaping what they have sewn. Murders and serious crimes are skyrocketing because the cops know that they will be attacked / prosecuted for even the slightest mis-step or error. I’d leave too. It’s not worth it. It’s just not and it’s going to get worse. ANyone remember that police class from the mid 80’s in DC when they decided to lower the standards on people who were applying for police jobs. Remember what Happened? I do and it wasn’t pretty. We’re headed down that same road right now and the problems will keep growing. Bet on it!

You are right on #1. I know for a fact that other counties, PG in particular have hired numerous transfers coming out of St. Mary’s. I also know that at any point in time, if you are injured while on the job in St. Mary’s, you can be fired regardless of the circumstances. Other counties have much better policy / pay which is why they are jumping ship.

Come on everyone. Cut these guys some slack. They were probably trying to shoot their way through a crowd that was keeping them from getting to their next job interview!

  17. Anonymous on July 13, 2015 at 11:57 am

Damn, they missed each other. Oh well, enjoy the free room and board.

  18. The Dude... on July 13, 2015 at 3:22 pm

Don’t these people ever get tired of getting arrested? How is “being under privileged” an excuse for acting like a jacka$$?

I had to drive up to Bethesda today and passed no less than 6 “county trash picking” crews along the highway and interstate 495 on the way…all black. Just stop it.

    • Ummmm on July 14, 2015 at 7:41 am

That was pre-release… Meaning they are on their way home. So the black men you speak of have done their time and will out soon to be back in the community. With your racist ass. Sad wasn’t no white men means they still in lock up hmmm. Cause im pretty sure they are in jail too stupid.

  19. done on July 14, 2015 at 12:41 am

with countless attempted murders involving most of these guys I am just incredulous that they can possible recieve any kind of bail. Much less low enough for one nights drug receipts
