On Saturday, December 29, 2012, Just one week after being arrested on Missouri Avenue in Lexington Park, for possessing a handgun that was loaded with a round in the chamber and the serial number scratched so it was unidentifiable, Kashif Delouis Dyson, 28 of Lexington Park was arrested again on two more firearms violations.
This time Dyson was arrested in Lexington Park and charged with two counts of possessing a rifle/shotgun after being convicted of a felony. Police found two guns during a traffic stop on Great Mills Road, early Saturday morning.
Dyson was released last week on his own personal recognizance on December 22, 2012 by a District Court Commissioner for the handgun violations. For this incident Dyson has a bail of $25,000, but historically in St. Mary’s County the bail is lowered after a hearing in front of a judge.
Dyson plead guilty on February 25, 2008 to possession of drugs with the intent to distribute in St. Mary’s County. He was sentenced to one year in jail.
