Stitch’s first owners purchased him from a pet store without researching the breed. When he was turned over to rescue he was submissive and scared, rescue feels he would do best with older children if there were children in the home. Stitch is 10 years old and shows a little sign of arthritis from being so active. With his age, he has a few minor health issues, but he is very happy and active. Stitch is leash and house trained and knows basic commands. The rescue did find out he is great with rabbits, he was with a rescue rabbit for about 8 months and they became best buddies. Stitch will make a great companion; a person with previous dog knowledge will be a best fit for him.
