bay-dawgzUPDATE 10/4/2016 @ 9:15 a.m.: Bay Dawgz decided to slide their grand opening to the 15th of October due to hurricane Matthew potentially hitting Southern Maryland this weekend.

10/4/2016: Bay Dawgz is a gourmet hot dog restaurant located in San Souci Plaza at 22558 MacArthur Blvd, Suite 36 in California.

It is locally owned and operated by Randy Martin and his wife Michele Martin.

Randy Martin is retired from the United States Air Force and has always had a passion for hot dogs! Michele being a native of St. Mary’s County felt very passionate about tying the concept in with the local area.

The menu is focused on specialty gourmet hot dogs that can be ordered from a nautical inspired menu or you may customize a hot dog to your own liking! Other “Knot Dawgz” items will be offered, such as BBQ sandwiches, shish-ka-dawgz, grilled cheese, salads, baked beans, kettle chips, fries, cole slaw, and mac ‘n’ cheese.

They offer all beef hot dogs, chicken hot dogs, foot long hot dogs, dingy dogs, corn dogs, and Old Bay Sausages. Prices on their hot dogs start around $3.75 and range up to $8.75. It will absolutely become mandatory for anyone visiting St. Mary’s Count to try Bay Dawgz flagship hot dog called “Captain Taft Crab Dawg” which is topped with crab dip and shredded cheddar cheese! This hot dog is named after Michele’s great grandfather, a fishing charter boat Captain – Taft Tippett.

Their hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Sunday’s from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Bay Dawgz will have their Grand Opening on Saturday, October 8th!

There are too many fast food restaurants that only sell hamburgers as their main food item ie: McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, etc. Recently BK has started selling Hot Dogs but, not too many restaurants sell hot dogs as the main food item. I hope that they do well in this business venture and I too will be trying them when they open for business. Good Luck.

IM EXCITED TO GO. LET SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS. ESPECIALLY ONES THAT ARE VETERAN-OWNED. ALTHOUGH WE MAY NOT ALWAYS AGREE ON OUR COUNTRY’S FOREIGN POLICY, SERVICE MEMBERS AND VETS ARE AND WERE WILLING TO GIVE THEIR LIFE TO DEFEND OUR NATION.
