Guinness was one of 50 pointers seized from a breeder due to poor conditions. Since he was rescued, we have learned he knows basic commands and is super sweet. Guinness can be playful and completely relaxed and want to snuggle. He can be a little shy at times but seems to be adjusting well. He is still learning inside manners but is doing well. Guinness will do best with a home with a fenced in yard and experienced owners. He does get along great with other dogs. Guinness would do great with a family that will help him build his confidence and continue working with him on obedience training.

A little bit of breed information:
Pointers are intelligent, devoted and loyal. They are affectionate and love children a true friend to the family. They can be a little reserved with strangers but with good socialization this can be resolved. The pointer is usually good with other dogs.

“He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.”
