Steny H. Hoyer’s Statement on Veterans Day

November 11, 2016

15027983_10154162323842887_7220482434716778910_nHouse Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today in recognition of Veterans Day:

“Today, I join in marking Veterans Day, a time to pay tribute to the men and women who have served our nation in uniform and honor the many sacrifices they have made. We come together today to assert what always unites us: a faith in America’s promise and a deep gratitude for those who have served our country in defense of that promise.

“On Veterans Day, we recommit ourselves to providing the best support and care to those who have served us in wartime and in peacetime. Ensuring that our nation’s veterans have access to skills training, quality health care, affordable education, and civilian job placement when they return home must be a top priority. May God bless our troops, our veterans, and all who serve our nation.”

Would this guy just fade away already. But you all will reflect him forever. He is exactly what is wrong with DC. Elected as poor 2 bit lawyer and is now a millionaire. Go figure.

Don’t bet on it. The Republicans will never vote for that. Our only hope is a convention of states.
