Featured Pet: Trevor
Rescue Group: Last Chance Animal Rescue
Breed: Chihuahua Mix
Sex: Male
Size: Small
Vetted: Neutered and Up-to-date with routine shots
Adoption Fee: $375.00

Trevor is a 2-year-old sweet Chihuahua Mix. He is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. Trevor is crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and is fine around cats. He is learning to walk on a leash and doing great. Trevor weighs 7 lbs. and is full-grown. We believe you can always teach an old dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog’s mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email with questions or call the main office at 301-274-9409.

A little bit of breed information:
Chihuahuas are great companion dogs. They are courageous and proud and enjoy affection. Chihuahuas are also brave and cheerful toy sized dogs. It is important to socialize them; they learn quickly and respond well to proper training. They are perfect travel companions.

“He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.”

A: We do not separate litters; however, many puppies come in without litter mates.

A: Yes, when the pup is ready for adoption in about two weeks. When available, the pup/s photo and bio information are posted to our Facebook page.
