On December 3, 2016 discover the spirit of Christmas past, specifically in the 17th- century. Guests are invited to follow the journey of a recently freed servant as he desperately searches for love (or at the least some domestic help). The people met along on his journey offer insight on how best to win the heart of a girl, using colonial tradition and the goodwill of the season. Join in the celebration by hanging evergreens, making crafts, and learning a traditional dance.
Arrive dressed for the weather and be prepared for mild walking. Tours will depart every hour from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors; $6 for youth and free to Friends members and children age five and younger. For information, contact (240) 895-4990 or info@HSMCdigshistory.org
