UPDATE 12/2/2016: The critically missing person, Jakob Fairfax, was located unharmed.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office thanks the community for their assistance.

12/1/2016: The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a critically missing person, Jakob Christopher Fairfax of Leonardtown.

Fairfax was last seen at his residence on November 30, 2016, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

He is confirmed to be in the presence of Haylie Ann Walk, a 14-year-old female, who is currently reported missing through the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Fairfax was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt with Leonard Hall written on the front, and is carrying a multicam pattern backpack.

Walk was last seen wearing multi-colored leggings, a gray hooded sweatshirt, brown Ugg boots, and is carrying a polka dot backpack.

Jakob Christopher Fairfax:

  • Age: 14
  • Weight: 110 lbs.
  • Brown Hair
  • Blue Eyes
  • Height: 5’05”

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Duty Officer at 301-475-4040.
