Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Bomb Threat at Courthouse

CCSOOn Thursday, December 8, 2016, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from a subject that advised there was a bomb in the Prince Frederick courthouse.

Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Troopers from the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack were dispatched to the court houses.

K-9 resources responded, scanned, and cleared both the District Court and Circuit Court buildings.

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau is currently working on this case.

A follow up release will be sent out as new information is developed.

    Someone didn’t want to go to court today and now has made things worse for themselves once they get caught, and they will get caught.
