Leonardtown Man Arrested for Violation of a Protective Order and Possession of a Concealed Weapon

VIOLATION PROTECTIVE ORDER/CONCEALED WEAPON – On May 20, 2014, Deputy T. Snyder of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Lexington Park COPs Unit, made contact with a victim in Lexington Park who alleged Chester Leroy Young, 48, of Leonardtown, contacted the victim in violation of an active protective order.

Young was located while seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle and placed under arrest.

A search of Young’s vehicle revealed a pair of metal knuckles under the driver’s seat.

Young was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Violation of Protective Order and Possession Concealed Weapon.

    Bond should be set extremely high. Obviously he doesn’t give a $### about the law and the persons’ safety could be at risk.
