Molotov Cocktails Found at Old Woodburn’s Store in Solomons‏

The Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Office with the assistance of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of attempted arson in Solomons.

On Feb. 27 around 9:30 a.m., a passerby walking in the 13900 block of Solomons Island Road in the area of what is formerly known as “Woodburn’s Grocery Store” and observed two bottles against the building, which turned out to be “Molotov Cocktails” that were found to have been placed against the building by unknown suspect(s).

There was very minimal damage to the building as a result and it was unknown when the incident actually occurred.

Anyone with information about this attempted arson is asked to call the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, Southern Region at (443) 550-6834.

    those bottles have been there for a couple months. also the crochet poles are rather strange as well. someone had alot of time on their hands
