The story doesn’t have enough information for me to give an opinion. Many things are missing that are needed to allow for a honest opinion. Age of juvenile for example the difference between being a 10 yr. old and and a 14 yr.old can change things considerably. What the confrontation was about also matters. Some of the teens use their ages to overpower adults and thats not fair. I’ve seen a almost 6ft. tall teen go chest to chest with a man, shoving him and daring him (the adult)to touch him. Not to say that the man was in the right in the above story/incident, but I am saying more facts are needed for ME to form a sense of whose I feel is right and whos wrong and why. I do find it sad that such things happen under any circumstances though, but when they do they must be looked at closely.

To be honest some teens need to be punched around a little bit. For example: The ones who call in bomb threats to schools, commit armed robberies and other extremely foolish behavior. Maybe that will also teach them not to go out in public with their underwear showing. After all, they’re a bit old to be disciplined any other way. Kids these days get away with too much and there’s stupid laws to prevent parents from whipping them. If nothing else will make them listen maybe a good old fashioned a** whipping will.
