Pedestrian Struck in Lexington Park

On Thursday, March 29 at 3:50 p.m., police and rescue were dispatched to report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the 46200 block of Corporate Way in Lexington Park.

Crews arrived on scene to discover a pedestrian struck in the area of the Navy Federal Credit Union.

One female patient was flown by MSP Trooper 2 to Prince George’s Shock Trauma.

No word on her condition at this time.

Police continue to investigate.

    OMG I left the area like 20 mins before this happened! I hope the victim is okay! ARREST THE RECKELESS DRIVER! I’m so sick of people driving like idiots in that area!

    I saw the accident… the person was pulling out of navy federal…where its near impossible to just go through the stop sign due to major traffic. it might not have been the drivers fault…they could have done ecerything they were supposed to……dont jump to conclusions…

    Any news about the cyclist who was hit? I passed the accident scene prior to any ambulance arrival and she was under the SUV. It was pretty traumatic to see; I hope she’s okay.
