0407150002aOn Monday, April 06, 2015, at 10:20 p.m., deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on Budds Creek Road in the area of Colton Point Road.

Volunteers arrived on scene and located a 2014 Jeep Wrangler on its side fully involved in fire. The patient had been ejected and bystanders moved him away from the fire. Firefighters from the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department remained on the scene and assisted the Sheriff’s Office for approximately two hours. State Highway responded for traffic control.

The operator, identified as Noah Christopher Reed, age 28, of Chaptico, was transported by Maryland State Police Trooper 7 to the Prince George’s Shock Trauma Center in critical condition.

Please let us know how he is doing. Earlier that day I had the pleasure of meeting your son while playing golf…we had a great round! When i saw this report it gave me chills to realize he was the same person I had just spent a few hours with! I have prayed for him ever since hearing the news!

This looks like an awful accident. Any word on whether the guy survived or not? I sure hope he did.

He is recovering slowly, but none the less will fully recover. Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming. And thank you so much.
