No Injuries Reported in Early Morning Crash

024_7739164On Sunday, May 31, 2015 at approximately 4:10 a.m., police, fire and rescue crews responded to a report of serious accident with injuries along Great Mills Road in Lexington Park.

Crews arrived on scene to discover a two vehicle collision with on vehicle overturned at the intersection of Great Mills Road and Willows Road.

An investigation revealed a Honda Accord was traveling east on Great Mills Road when they failed to yield the right of way to a Chevrolet Colorado that had entered the intersection from Willows Road.

The Chevrolet Colorado had a green light at the the time of the accident.

Two patients signed treatment refusals at the scene.

Maryland State Police investigated.

    That blows when an old Honda Accord can knock over your pick up truck. That dude needs to man up to a new full size diesel truck.

      Honda clipped the rear tire… and launched it into the air. I am sure any truck or SUV would do the same.

    At 410am The Traffic Lights are flashing at that intersection.

    The only two vehicles on the road and they hit each other. WOW!

    If the Honda clipped the rear tire, it would cause the truck to spin out. The impact was midway the truck which caused it to roll over.
