Tractor Trailer Crashes Into Leonardtown Sunoco

024_7161On Saturday, January 30, 2016, at approximately 3:35 a.m., police, fire, and rescue personnel responded to the Leonardtown Sunoco at 25965 Point Lookout Road, in Leonardtown for a report of a vehicle into a structure.

Police arrived on scene to find a tractor trailer that had left the roadway and struck a gas pump before continuing on into the building.

The driver and single occupant of the truck was checked out by personnel from the Leonardtown Rescue Squad and remained at the scene.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.

SMECO and the Maryland State Highway Administration were called to the scene to assist police.

      It was bone dry through there. He lost it after he went off.

        No, I came through there around 0440 and there was a patch of ice in front of the vintage values..
