VIDEO – St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Respond to Disorderly Crowds Around St. Mary’s County on Friday Night

February 10, 2016

Disorderly Crowds Around St. Mary’s CountyIn response to concerns about disorderly crowds, members of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Lexington Park COPs Unit coordinated an enforcement effort the night of February 5.

Assisting in the effort were members of patrol, the K-9 division, alcohol enforcement coordinator, Leonardtown COPs officer, and Maryland State Police.

Deputies responded to calls in several locations throughout the evening regarding large disorderly crowds loitering, fighting, CDS, and alcohol citations.

These areas included a private party at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD), The Lexington Lounge, Pegg Road Shell Station, and IHOP.

As a result of the joint effort, several violations and arrests were issued:

  • Two marijuana civil citations were issued by Deputy First Class A. Beishline on February 5. One was at the HVFD and the other at the Lexington Lounge.
  • Four alcohol citations were issued by Corporal W. Ray, Deputy First Class V. Pontorno, and Deputy First Class A. Beishline. Three were at the HVFD, and one was outside the Lexington Lounge.

  • James Nathaniel Watkins, age 32, of, Lexington Park, who was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants, at the HVFD by Deputy J. Bittner.

SMNEWSNET contacted Lieutenant Michael H. Gardiner, who is the Supervisor for the Office of Professional Responsibilities for the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and asked for dash camera videos from the night’s events, and were provided with the following response.

It takes approximately 1 hour per downloadable file and burning the data to a DVD. The first two hours of obtaining the data are at no charge. Therefore it is estimated the cost of completing your request will be approximately $598.00 (based upon a rate of $46.00 per hour) which will be due at the time the requested information is delivered. The costs indicated are just an approximation. The costs may be lower or higher depending on the time it takes to collect, download and burn to DVD.

        • big momma on February 11, 2016 at 6:46 am

Learn the English language before typing. just like your family’s names, I don’t have a clue what you are trying to say. you are the perfect example of uneducated. If you can read this and understand the message, you are most likely a high school drop-out.

        • Anonymous on February 11, 2016 at 7:06 am

          What language is that?

        • Beamer on February 11, 2016 at 8:34 am

@ Dorsey—you make my brains hurt trying to decipher that vomit you typed. P.S. Your family is useless hoodrat dregs of society.

  3. Anonymous on February 10, 2016 at 6:10 am

Nothing surprising here. More black trash committing crimes in our county. Filthy hood rats need to be eradicated.Nothing but vermin.

    • T.P. on February 10, 2016 at 2:13 pm

THIS clown^^^^. All those white faces that show up on reports like these? Every week, or whenever they come out? All over southern Maryland. You might be one of them. But the white ones are just as prominent than the black ones…..

  4. Emily on February 10, 2016 at 6:38 am

get these THUGS out of our county!!!! great job to all the LEO’s on the scenes

    • Got 1 on February 10, 2016 at 7:29 am

To leave a comment like this means your definitely a white person.

      • Got 1 on February 10, 2016 at 7:30 am

        let me correct myself “you’re”

        • Krissy on February 10, 2016 at 11:20 am

I’m white I don’t condone these racist comments. The same way you don’t like people categorizing blacks I don’t like you putting me in a category with that ignorant assholes statements either. Very racist comments from them and you. I’m a bar owner I can tell you and all of the people that commented before you. I have had blacks and whites in my bar acting like stupid thugs. The color of their skin has nothing to do with their behavior. I also think to leave your comments addressing yourself as anonymous is being a coward.

          • big momma on February 11, 2016 at 6:51 am

shut up. you are obviously a little special in the head. no one cares about your condolences.

          • Moso Much on February 11, 2016 at 10:11 am

Krissy. Hold on to your ignorance while I destroy your comments. I categorize idiots as idiots. Who really cares, and I am not throwing that “r” card on the table. Cowards claim game by owning a bar. Big whoop. You are more than a problem than a solution. Quit playing up to the problem, and own an original solution. And although both blacks and whites don’t visit MY BAR, they do visit your mom. I own your mom. That’s just about as intelligent. But seriously,…… I do. And, please, like many before you, please understand basic grammar, punctuation, spelling and sentence structure before you choose to post. It makes you like one of them. May God bless your goats, chickens and all of your family.

          • Keepin It Real on February 11, 2016 at 3:41 pm

  6. mark on February 10, 2016 at 8:22 am

    Kentwuan, You can do better
James, You’re a lost cause. Use that booger to fill in that missing tooth.
Dontevious, Your face says it all. POS!
Michelle, What are you smiling about dumb ass? You’re ruining you life. Sheesh
and Michael, if you get rid of the patchy facial hair an get a hair cut, you could pass for a law abiding citizen, if only you would act like one.
Just because a group of you get together doesn’t mean you have to follow your instincts to act like animals. At least pretend to be civil.

  7. Passerby on February 10, 2016 at 8:24 am

    • Keepin It Real on February 10, 2016 at 10:46 am

They’re migrating south for the winter.

    • Tell You What on February 10, 2016 at 12:45 pm

I know for a fact that at least 2 of them are not from PG county. All black criminals don’t just come from that county and DC you know. That’s like telling these military immigrants to stay in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  9. Feral on February 10, 2016 at 9:14 am

Wow those thugs wear skits and skinny clothes in a cold temperature. Wow do they have to go that low to grab people’s attention at the meat factory party. Man you are doing awesome

The Dorsey family is full of winners (sarc).

  12. Anonymous on February 10, 2016 at 1:19 pm

Just another CLASSIC case of pure thug trash making it’s way down to So Md. Ya’ll need to take yourselves back to PG County or where ever the hell you came from. Would love to see this kind of activity down in Ridge or out in the 7th. Those people don’t need cops. They handle their business on their own!!! Saddest part is – they’re BACK on the streets AGAIN already! Buncha P.O.S.

    • T.P. on February 10, 2016 at 2:24 pm

Let the white folks continue committing the CDS’s down there, right? Like if blacks do go back, the crime will go away. Dream on dreamer. White folks been committing crimes loooooong before black folks started moving down there. Tell the truth; you’re not interested in sharing the criminal wrongdoing down there, are you? Lol

Shame on you! ! We all may come in different color and size but we’re all human! Yes, Shame on these poor actions but it doesn’t help being racist!

  20. Jim Beam on February 10, 2016 at 5:42 pm

Watch the top video. Anyone else find it odd that 3 officers alone are surrounding and questioning the most scantily dressed girl in the video? I’m sure there were a few more thugs in the crowd with pockets full of drugs that you missed while you were busy getting your fix and being cool with your cop buddies harassing attractive females. DC cops are notorious for this so I’m sure it’s no different here.

    • Moso Much on February 11, 2016 at 10:24 am

      Attractive! Buah hahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

  21. Jim Beam on February 10, 2016 at 5:48 pm

    Go to jail
    “Dawg, what you in fo?”
“Maaaan I went hard at the IHOP”

Dude is 18, probably still in school, so his boys will think his stint in county is tight. He’ll think he’s hard and try to step his game up and end up back in jail or dead. The cycle continues.

    • Tell You What on February 10, 2016 at 7:00 pm

That sounds about accurate to me. Instead of focusing on professional careers and making an honest living, they’d prefer to make the law abiding public miserable for what they know as “skreet kredd.” The vast majority of them will never learn because life is just another “gangsta” rap video to them.

    • Keepin It Real on February 10, 2016 at 10:44 pm

Ok, who let the down syndrome student comment?

  22. Len on February 11, 2016 at 6:52 am

Neck tats. It’s rare that you get a multiple person line-up without at least one neck tat. I feel sorry for anyone with a neck tat that is a law abiding individual trying to succeed. Just want to add, it’s 2016, can we stop sagging our pants to the point that everyone sees your undies? I know it doesn’t show in the pics, but the neck tats reminded me of the sagging pants stereotype that won’t go away.

    • Tell You What on February 11, 2016 at 1:46 pm

Correct. I seriously don’t know what’s wrong with those people. It’s like they have some sort of major psychological disorder or a disease of the brain that makes them act like savages 24/7. They literally have the waistline of their jeans around their knees and the part that gets me is how they’re never charged for indecent exposure. I really believe people who act like them need to be locked away in concentration camps and kept away from the law abiding society.

    • farmz on February 11, 2016 at 3:05 pm

I have a neck tattoo.. I’m a business owner as well. Tattoos don’t make or break you.. you guys are pitiful.. white trash…

      • Anonymous on February 15, 2016 at 11:15 am

        Self employed as:
        Tattoo artist?
        Food services?
        Painter?

Why did you choose your neck as the place to display your tattoo?

  23. Anonymous on February 11, 2016 at 10:00 am

It’s not black or white or brown or male/ female… it’s all situational and environmental. When you look at these people, pictured above or in any of these “crime” articles, think to yourself…. they were once sweet little babies, just like you once were, just like your son/ daughter or your best friends child or even the strangers kid at the grocery store that is waving to everyone and you think it’s so cute… those toddlers are completely innocent and ignorant to the bs of the world. Kids want to love and be loved, they love learning and playing, they love it when you teach them and when you show them and tell them how proud you are of them. Do you honestly think that an infant or young child dreams of one day being part of an smnewsnet article like this, or living the lifestyle of some of these folks? Sure, we all have choices in life and we ultimately carve our own paths… but if you’re raised around awful role models, if you’re raised around struggle and poverty, if you’re raised being tormented and bullied, if you’re raised in a “gotta get mine before you get yours” environment surrounded by drunks and wretched morals… etc… how can we expect to see these kids grow up to become scholars and angels?
People don’t need your ignorance and harsh words, they don’t need to be brought down any further than they already are… they need love, they need to be shown something different exists, something better… that there’s a better way of living. Not everyone can be “saved”, but unintelligent and racist comments will just dig us all a deeper hole to fall in. This isn’t an us vs them reality… and if we don’t start focusing on optimizing ourselves and the people around us… bringing people up and not down… then I just see this getting worse and worse by the day. My apologies for being so serious and not using the best grammar, I don’t really care though. Some of the comments and thought processes I see on here are just bumming me out, more so than the actual article itself. It isn’t always the perpetrator(s) that give the human race a bad rep.

    • Kentuan Dontevious on February 11, 2016 at 3:04 pm

We are all better than this family of trash. We don’t have to judge. We can all see the scum that they are. This tight-knit family really shows their “great hearts” by acting like this in public.

  28. Anonymous on February 13, 2016 at 1:48 am

This article, taken verbatim from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office website, fails to explain why a “taskforce” was created preemptively to deal with Friday night parties. The title itself: “Sheriff’s Office Respond to Disorderly Crowds Around St. Mary’s” is misleading. 2 marijuana tickets, 4 open container citations, 4 disorderly conduct citations and an assault of police at IHOP – with 1 warrant being served – hardly amounts to the righteous joint police effort the Sheriff’s office says occurred. This is just another example of Southern Maryland law enforcement targeting blacks and black gatherings.
