Tammy Dickinson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that an Ava, Missouri, man pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, to producing child pornography.

Brett Corcoran, 26, of Ava, Missouri pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool to the charge contained in a Sept. 30, 2015, federal indictment. Corcoran has been in federal custody since his arrest.

By pleading guilty, Corcoran admitted that he used a minor victim to produce child pornography between Jan. 1 and May 13, 2015. According to court documents, Corcoran engaged in numerous text conversations with a 14-year-old victim in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. He sent pornographic images of himself to her, and solicited images from the child victim.

Under federal statutes, Corcoran is subject to a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison without parole, up to a sentence of 30 years in federal prison without parole. The maximum statutory sentence is prescribed by Congress and is provided here for informational purposes, as the sentencing of the defendant will be determined by the court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the completion of a presentence investigation by the United States Probation Office.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James J. Kelleher. It was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Corcoran will be formally sentenced after the United States Probation Office completes a presentence investigation.

Being a victim on social media is like being a victim to the power company by running all your electrical appliances 24/7. Now another possible taxpayer is removed from the rolls and a person that can vote in less than four years is allowed to skate. She can get on social media but not smart enough to turn it off when she finds trash like this. Did she use the app to mask her internet travels from her parents? Did her parents even check on her? Sounds like the parents need to pay the piper as well if they didn’t try! Social media needs to be fixed so this clown would have to keep his trash in his home town and be more restricted in “victims”.

I can only assume that you don’t have children. There is a reason minors are unable to give consent based upon maturity. It’s sad that you blame a 14 y/o for likely getting groomed by a fat disgusting predator.

I don’t have kids, but I understand consent &I know victim-blaming when I see it. Unfortunately Alice here may very well have children, but is clearly lacking in the empathy department.

What is with filth like this. They don’t seem to care that they are potentially ruining a child’s entire life just for their own temporary gratification. These people are the lowest of the low right down there with people that murder children or their own family. They should change the law to say that trash like him should have to cover the expenses of any psychological treatment for the rest of the kids life and if the kid commits suicide at any point the pedophile goes up for murder.

To have them pay for treatment of the victim is a great idea but considering he will be making about $.03 a day for the next 18+ years (hopefully) they better find a cheap therapist. I personally favor electrocution by placing the negative jumper cable on one berry and the positive on the other berry then start the car. While 12 volts won’t kill the worthless POS it would be entertaining for the person hooking up the cables.

I hope you know you are no better than the person who writes typical when it is a minority committing a crime. Do your research and look at the sex offender registry before you make these comments. This next step requires you to do a little math but take the amount on the list and separate them into race. count them up and you will find the percentage of people committing these sick crimes is the same percentage as the amount of the race that lives in the country give or take a percentage point. That means one race commits this crime at the same rate as the other races. The reason it looks like mostly white people is because the majority of people in the country are white. People like you and the other racists need to start hating the crime and not the color. We should all band together against criminals and not just certain criminals because of their race.

What about the “black boy” Rosier that the Charles County Sheriff is currently looking for? This guy just looked at pictures, Rosier actually had physical contact with a child. Smoke on that Big Dookie.
