A Doggone Fun Day at School!

November 16, 2011

Mrs. Fry’s and Mrs. Miller’s  Pre-K classes at Kings Christian Academy recently hosted a couple of special visitors during their “What I want to be when I grow up” day. Lola Hoeg, a 7 year old Golden Doodle, and the Chesapeake Pet Resort & Day Spa mascot, Lucy, delighted the room full of excited 4-year olds.

Susan Pearce Ditch, owner of Chesapeake Pet Resort and Day Spa, along with manager Mary Blake, introduced the class to Lola while answering questions on pet care, and what it’s like to run a kennel.  Susan said, “It was a lot of fun and the kids really loved it. I think we had as much fun, or more, than the kids did!” The schoolchildren were eager to pet Lola, who patiently accepted their attention, and they were especially excited to meet Lucy and shake her paw!
