Buffalo Wild Wings Officially Open for Business

November 22, 2011

On Monday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m., the latest new restaurant in Lexington Park held a ribbon cutting to officially mark open for business.

Hundreds of people waited in line for up to 24 hours for their chance to receive free Buffalo Wild Wings for a year. The first 100 people, tired and plenty hungry, received Buffalo Wild Wings footballs as an indicator that they were to receive six wings per week for a full year.

The ribbon was cut with the help of the restaurant chain’s regional manager and store manager Alan Shirley along with quite a few employees ready to get the fun started.

Offering remarks at the ceremony were St. Mary’s County Commissioner Todd Morgan and Economic and Community Development Manager, Business Development Hans Welch, the doors opened and a few hundred hungry people charged into the restaurant – 100 of those ready for their first batch of free wings!
