Herman is a beautiful 2-year-old Xolo/Chinese Crested mix; he is a great representation of both breeds, but probably shows a little more of the Xolo/Mexican Hairless. He is a sturdy, funny little guy. Herman is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up he will show you a very playful, snuggly side. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to wrestle and race around with his foster sister. A little love and a forever family is all Herman hopes for.

herman1A little bit of breed information:
Xoloitzcuintle is a very intelligent, loyal, athletic dog that is extremely loving to his family. This breed needs to be socialized and is very good with company and children. The breed is becoming very popular as an obedience dog, as well as a therapy dog. The breed is generally a hardy, healthy breed.
Chinese Crested dogs are very rare, they are the most popular of the hairless breeds. They are alert, charming and very loveable. The Chinese Crested is an entertaining and amusing companion. Hairless dogs will sunburn so when exposed to sun they will need a good sunscreen, and they should wear a sweater in the winter. They are fairly active inside but okay without a large yard and.
