Survey to Assess Views on Higher Education Needs

Southern Maryland Higher Education Council, in concert with the Patuxent Partnership, has created a brief survey for regional businesses that will assess views on higher education needs. The Southern Maryland Higher Education Council was established by the Maryland Legislature and signed into law by Governor O’Malley in 2011. The Higher Ed Council is charged with developing a strategy to improve access to higher education for Southern Maryland residents, examining existing needs, and determining whether those needs are being met. The survey will help them recommend ways to formulate long and short term plans to improve higher education access.
