Lexington Park Man Pulls Knife on Store Employees

Arrest 1666On March 29, 2013, at 5:48pm, deputies responded to the Family Dollar Store at  21703 Great Mills Road, in Lexington Park for the report of an assault.

Patrick Leon Short, 45 of Lexington Park, was seen coming out of the bathroom, in the storage room, at the back of the store.

Two employees confronted him and told him he was not allowed in the back room.

Short pulled a knife from his pocket and held it as the employees backed away. As Short exited the store, he was met by responding deputies. Employees found items in the bathroom that Short was attempting to steal.

Short was placed in custody and was determined to be intoxicated.Arrest 1667

Short was arrested and charged with two counts of 2nd degree assault, one count of theft, and one count of CDS, for a crack pipe that was found on his person incident to arrest.

    Lexington park needs to be cleaned up of these low life crackhead thugs, one day he will pull knife on a convienence store employee that has a concealed carry license, then you won’t have to call the cops.
