Flu Vaccination Clinics Announced

Depending on the availability of the vaccine and weather permitting, the Charles County Department of Health has scheduled flu vaccination clinics at the Department of Health’s location, 4545 Crain Highway in White Plains, on the following dates and times:

Friday, September 30 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Senior 65 and over and caregivers

Friday, October 14 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
All ages Saturday, November 5 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. All ages

Friday, December 9 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
All ages

All individuals six months of age and older should get the flu vaccine. Vaccination is especially important for people at higher risk of severe flu and their close contacts including healthcare personnel and close contacts of children younger than six months.

For inquiries and additional questions, call (301) 609-6900, ext. 6025 (for adults) or ext. 6024 (for children). Additional clinics will be added offering evening hours and immunizations for elementary school students. There is no charge for flu immunizations but donations are accepted. By getting a flu shot, together we can protect the health of our families, children and our community.
