        • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 2:03 pm

Because he is a cop. He HAS to be held to a higher standard of ethical behaviour because the powers of the police should not be abused. Inferring that he abused his power here is not stretching the facts. Despite popular belief we are all not equals. Castrate this man. Let the wife testify against him and let her go.

So true. Theres a few bad apples in the local state police force as well but st.marys sherrifs office is the worst..and no I have never been arrested or charged with anything

    • JR Sutton on November 6, 2013 at 9:43 pm

you re a few years late on the this one Rick…The current police department is more porfessional and upstanding then ever. They arent afraid to fire the trash that other people hired. I know of four or five right off the bat. But I am sure an educated fella such as yourself will continue to talk smack. If you see something say something if not you continue to sound like a clown

      • Anonymous on November 7, 2013 at 6:18 am

Our Police put their lives on the line for us each and every day. One mans horrible actions does not taint a whole dept.

    • Paul on November 6, 2013 at 9:10 pm

They do it because they’re not qualified to do anything else. Way too much credit given to cops.

      • JR Sutton on November 6, 2013 at 9:46 pm

Really….when was the last time a cop was honored at a professional sporting event…nope thats the military. You have no clue what they do. They are not qualified, I would bet you sitting cowardly behind your computer in your dark little cave can do so much woth your ninja skills, World of Warcraft abilities or your DND knowledge…

        • Anonymous on November 6, 2013 at 10:36 pm

For someone who sticks up for cops so much you must be one. They are partly correct ya know!? I mean most cops weren’t anything in school or were the shy loser, until they decide to get the badge. And yes one mans actions shouldn’t taint the whole dept”…. But then again these are the same guys who speed wherever they want, play on computer/phone while driving and so on. When a person decides to become an officer, they decide to change their life for the better and be an outstanding citizen. More often than not they do not live up to that requirement. Cops don’t need medals, they want to shoot someone to get the award and be one of the few who have. Just like marines come into a bar trying to be tough and start fights. They are called stereo types bc it singles out a certai type of person, but the thing is, stereotypes are true

So now you stereotype Marines in your conversation… You realize why Marines get in bar fights? Usually some douchebag (i.e. YOU) didnt have what it took to be one. So you make your smart comments, throw a few insults out then find yourself having your ass handed to you by some pissed off jarhead. Then run around saying we all have issues with fighting.
I dont care to much for cops either. Lately most of my dealings with Deputies and State troopers have been pleasant. But I still see a ton of room for improvement. Show some balls and quit posting anon.

  7. smh on November 6, 2013 at 11:45 pm

This is getting to be a regretful trend. Law enforcers who manipulate their status and role in fighting the “BAD GUY” makes you doubt the legitimacy of ever officer. With so many tainted individuals involved in law enforcement it truly makes you ponder on the honesty of officers who are sworn to uphold the law in an honest and professional manner. Often due to police integrity officers tend to stick together whether if it’s the wrong or right thing to do. I bet that if ALL internal affairs division were of an arbitrary background there would be more successful investigations of rogue cops resulting in dismals, suspension, reprimand, or even prosecution. There are too many rogue/bad cops out here, one is far too many. Not all officers are bad but for one bad cop it takes 1, 000 to make up or try to make up for that one bad apple. More needs to done to stop the smear that these bad cops spread. Internal affairs need to do more than protect the pride of an agency. Every complaint should be treated like every police dispatch. GREAT JOB IN APPREHENDING THIS MONSTER THATS CLAD BY THE SHIELD THAT REPRESENTS JUSTICE, HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM, UNBIASNESS, PRIDE, & TRUE INTEGRITY.

    • Anonymous on November 7, 2013 at 3:13 pm

Did you know the internal affairs of a police department is actually public knowledge? Now, here, we have to go through a lot of loops to get the information, but in states like Florida, a lot of police departments have published their internal affairs reports for all to see – a lot like our judiciary case search, but specifically for the police. My old boss actually wrote to our police station to request that they do the same, and Tim Cameron called him personally to say he wasn’t doing it.

      • smh on November 7, 2013 at 5:44 pm

So, officer, you are exclaiming that Internal Affairs investigations are NOT a matter of public record in St. Mary’s County. This bothers me I have been upholding Sheriff Cameron’s success in leading an unruly department but actions such as banning the public’s ability in monitoring police scanners & now you are telling me that Cameron has something to hide by making I.A. investigation results private and not a matter of public notice. I am appalled.

        • Anonymous on November 7, 2013 at 8:27 pm

Personnel matters are not public records by law in Maryland. If Sheriff Cameron released them he would be violating the law. Therefore he is required to deny requests for those records.

          • Dave on November 14, 2013 at 6:55 am

The crimes committed by police are not a matter of public interest? Doubleplusgood comrade!

Some poor girls life may be ruined because of this pig. His family, the victims family will suffer emotional pain for years, if not decades. He was supposed to be someone they could trust. This is a God awful reminder that no one should be trusted with kids. He must have made threats, and that is what kept the kid quiet, till now. He will rot in hell one day.

  9. teh on November 7, 2013 at 12:53 am

From casually shooting a unstable (non-threating) man, to beating a barmaid senseless, to damaging children beyond repair, the
thought of respect has been replaced by fear and deep disdain for the porcine boys in blue. Now, I like bacon, but not in a blue uniform, packing and having that ‘Incognito’ mentality that seems to run rampant in every police department larger thay Mayberry.

I told my son this: You only get as much justice as you can afford. and I follow that up with,it isn’t logical to believe anyone that gets paid to lie for a living.

  10. Bill on November 7, 2013 at 7:14 am

Some of you really like to bash the police officers. Yes some of them do over step the boundaries sometimes, but that is not every police officer. My father was a DC police officer for twenty years and has a fine reputation in that office. I know what goes on in a police officers life and the stress that they are under day in and day out. They are not the shy little guy in high school and they are qualified for other jobs they choose this field to protect others. Someone asked when was the last time a police officer was honored at a sporting event, well let me say this our soldiers get honored only in the time of war, if we were not in afgahanistan right now do you think they would be honored. Police officers put their life on the line everyday. I bet those of you bashing the police would have no problem calling them for help when you need them.

    • Dave on November 14, 2013 at 6:56 am

I never call the police for help. It only makes things worse, and they are as likely to harass you as help you.

  11. Loser on November 7, 2013 at 7:15 am

The sad part is he will probably be allowed to retire and still will be allowed to volunteer as a firefighter in Prince George’s.

  12. Julie on November 7, 2013 at 7:45 am

Wow, all the bashing of other officers because of one’s behavior is astounding. No, I myself am not an officer of the law, but I know many, many upstanding individuals that are. The only bad experience I ever had with one was in PG county (go figure). Too long of a story to post on here and no, I as a citizen did not get justice for that particular officers wrong doings. Anyway, one bad apple does not make the whole bunch rotten. How bout you stop bashing and start thanking them for all that they do.

    • Dave on November 14, 2013 at 6:58 am

Thank you for shooting so many dogs. Thank you for collecting revenue for the state. Thank you for having more child molestors then the Catholic Church. Than you for making people live in fear. Thank you for never, ever reporting the wrongdoings of s fellow officer.

  16. Rose on November 7, 2013 at 3:57 pm

I agree that it’s unfair to bash all police officers for the actions of a few. As far as the comments about police officers being uneducated, etc., that means nothing. I once was involved in the firing of an engineer with a PhD who was doing the same thing to his young step-daughter. There are bad apples in every part of society, regardless of their education and/or station in life. I am grateful for the police officers who put themselves in harm’s way to protect us. Unfortunately, good news doesn’t create headlines, but disgusting depraved behavior always does.

    • smh on November 7, 2013 at 6:09 pm

what a shame! What losers and a waste of tax payer dollars.

  27. Anonymous2 on November 8, 2013 at 6:08 am

What these two have done is a heinous crime. It is compounded by the fact that one of the offenders is a police officer, which taints the reputation of all police officers — unfair, but true.

Good policing starts at the top. If the head of the law enforcement unit expects – no, demands – that his/her officers set a good example for the community, and expects them to be fair and lawful, then it sets the tone for conduct of all the officers. If the head of law enforcement is lax, turns a blind eye, or ignores transgressions, then they can expect some officers to take advantage, and think they have been given license or special status to be above the law.

Police officers hold a position of public trust; therefore, they are held to a higher standard. As it should be. If all officer violations are dealt with swiftly, and without regard to friendships, etc., then each officer knows exactly what to expect if he goes over the line.

This officer has been relieved of his duty and placed in a non-pay status. That’s all that can be done until the case is heard in court. It remains to be seen what action the PG Police Chief takes after the case is closed. This guy should and hopefully will loose any pension he might otherwise have had.

Both of the people need to go away for a very long time for their deeds. Unfortunately, this young lady will pay for the rest of her life, and bear the scars of their repeated and long-term abuse. You can expect the Calvert County State’s Attorney will move to request the harshest penalty possible under law for these two abusers.

Take where you work (if you do work) and think of how many turds work there with you. You may be one of those turds also. Sniff your underarms and your breath. Smells like shyt, must be shyt. Why do you think a large group of officers working for a police agency wouldn’t have a turd or two as well. We are talking about imperfect humans. Let the turds surface and then flush them, that is all that can be done. Police departments follow many rules when they hire their officers. What they were to start with could change. How would you know of the future when you hire people? Mind readers? So, don’t bash other officers, who truly do commit to a life of danger to protect US! If you don’t like the police, do whatever you have to (like obey all laws) so you do not have to have contact with them. Look at the crime we experience now and think how bad it would be without police agencies. I vote to keep them all, thank them all, and flush the turds whenever and where ever the are!

    • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 9:03 am

PG County has way too many TURDS!!! I do have a job and I’m not a cop hater! Just saying…

      • John on November 8, 2013 at 10:39 am

What do people out just saying after everything they type or say nowadays aren’t you saying it already no need to type it out

        • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 1:45 pm

Can you try that again? I no can read say you what.

        • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 2:48 pm

          Really?

    • Dave on November 14, 2013 at 7:00 am

The difference is, most turds don’t carry guns, and most turds aren’t authorized by society at large to use deadly force according to their judgment.

  30. Amazed on November 8, 2013 at 9:42 am

And now they are both out on bale. Different strokes and laws for the cops.

  31. idiots on November 8, 2013 at 10:26 am

Bale? As in a bale of hay?

They are out on bail. Educate yourself with Maryland’s Judicial System before you criticize it. I don’t think 100,000 was special or different for him because he is a cop. It is actually higher than most of the bails we read about on smnewsnet.

    • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 1:46 pm

I assume it is because of the amount and nature of the charges, perhaps?

  32. Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 11:32 am

I want to know why 6 years later all these years she has been going and having sex with them willing . Why she ratting them out now what would they not give her big amount of money. She’s 19 now she new it was wrong when she was 13. I find it bull that they can come forward after 18 and all those years and cry rape she was willing and new what was happening. Yes they are sick people and wrong for doing it but why know tell us john and aimmie what did she want .read the report

    • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 1:51 pm

I agree…I also don’t understand why the girl would continue to go back after the first, second, even 10th offense if it truly was without her consent every time? This is an incredibly strange situation.

    • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 2:58 pm

You are an idoit! When something goes on for that long she probably began to think it was normal, she was 13!

    • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 6:15 pm

Yeah someone abused has come out and wants money from them. They probably wanted it off their chest. Abuse is not okay. Adults are people we should look up to and trust especially the ones in uniform

    • anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 8:35 pm

Whoever you are..it is obvious you must be a friend of this creepy pervert…sexual abuse by a 38 year old man and 27 year old woman…who is a nurse…against a trusting and vulnerable 13 year old is sick, sick, sick and criminal.

    • Jadeland on November 8, 2013 at 11:43 pm

Wow, how stupid. Whether or not she was willing, IT WAS STILL A CRIME. Do you REALLY believe a WILLING 13 yr old and 40 something man is ok? You’re as sick as he is.

  33. Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 12:26 pm

Not all Child Molesters are Cops! Not all PG Cops are bad. My Daughter was molested by our neighbor who lives directly across the street. My daughter was only six when this happened. They let my neighbor out on $ 30,000 bond! He is allowed to come and go as he pleases. The wife went and got the pervert out. He now continues to ‘stalk us”. That is what is so crazy in this story involving the 13 year old in Calvert County. The wife participated in the abuse. I can not imagine as mother allowing my child to go through that type of pain. I hope that they both get the maximum sentence. We are too easy on first time sex offenders in Maryland. It is the most disgusting thing that you can do to a child. My daughter is in so much pain because of what happened to her. I am in pain. We have been in counseling and I don’t think that it is something that either of us will ever get over.

    • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 2:50 pm

      No one said they were??

      • Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 4:23 pm

The 13 year old was an innocent child living in her mother’s home who had every right to be loved and protected, instead, she was molested. She did not come forward because she felt threatened. I was molested by my own biological Father. I first witnessed my sister being abused and I told my mother. My mother did nothing about it. My aunts tried to help. I was abused and my brother was abused. My Father got away with it. I did not want money. I only wanted the abuse to stop. I have a brother that committed suicide. I believe that he was in so much pain over what happened to as a child. I blame my Father. I always wil. This man and woman deserve to have the maximum sentence handed to them. This child will live with the pain for the rest of her life. Sexual Abuse needs to stop!

    • friday on November 8, 2013 at 9:34 pm

I am so sorry you and your daughter went through this nightmare. Hopefully life will improve and allow you to move past this terrible part of your lives.

Maybe the pervert will die soon and at least be off of the earth!

  34. TellMeNo on November 8, 2013 at 3:00 pm

Please tell me why these two creeps even rec’d a bond? Absolutely amazing.

  35. Anonymous on November 8, 2013 at 5:35 pm

Consent or not. The victim was 13! They were public servants , people who look over help and protect our community. The victim was 13 and they knew better. As a relative the victim had trust in aimee and kept going back to keep their secret safe over the years.

Does anyone remember the point at hand ? Get over all your selfless remarks ! Pg countys has some shady cops .. they have more than surrounding countys due to crime rate and population. There are state stanards for hiring them .. arguing that would make sense not all this crap . Go vote do your homework . If this cat is guilty rally or make it known he deserves general population in JAIL along with his wife .. if not show respect and vote for someoneone who cares about eye for an eye and not the political red tape and polical correct bs that is known and abused across pg and many other countys

Wouldn’t be worse, I meant I think more will come out, others will hopefully come forward. Maybe he will do that. He’s a sick individual. SICK

  43. Justagirl on November 11, 2013 at 10:04 am

I have known this man for a long time, he did the same thing to me. The only difference was i was just bearly 18 so no charges could be filled without solid proof. He gave me extreme amounts of alcohol and then took advantage of me. Someone should look for the dirty movies he made of his victims, i am sure he tapped this young girl too. Because he was a police officer i did not question him giving alcohol to a minor. I hope he gets put away for along time because if he doesn’t he WILL do it again.

    • smh on November 11, 2013 at 9:06 pm

Wow your plight is credible. These type of offenders fit a certain pattern. You should be able to build a case now that this violation has been exposed. Good luck! You should pursue charges again against this pedafile.

  44. Unreal on November 11, 2013 at 9:42 pm

If he has done this to you also and you were barely 18, you need to come forward! They need to hear that there are others out there, who have been victimized by this worthless excuse for a man. What if he doesn’t go away for this? What if he does this again? Help put him away for life. This man is sick.

    • Justagirl on November 12, 2013 at 8:39 am

I wish there was something i could do but i have spent many years dealing with what happened to me and had to move on for the sake of my family. Bringing this up would distroy my husband and 3 children, i can’t do that. I will follow this case to the end and make sure he gets what he deserves. Once they find all of the tapes they will see who all of these women he abused are. It is hard when you feel that what they were doing was not wrong, until you don’t remember but bits and pieces of it. I see all of these people blaming the victim and saying why didn’t she say anything but its not her fault she was being manipulated into doing something she had no idea about. I have went through many years of therapy to get it through my head it was not my fault and what happened is in the past. I just wish i could of had something done years ago, it’s just too late now.

      • Dave on November 14, 2013 at 7:05 am

It is of course completely understandable that you would want to move past this situation. However, if what you are saying is true, and this man goes free, he is a serial sexual predator and will no doubt do this again. No one can take away the pain you have suffered, but if you come forward, at least you can know that you did not suffer in vain, as your effort may help stop this from happening to another young girl.

  45. Lucy on November 12, 2013 at 11:15 am

@justagirl… CCSO can possibly pull the IP information for this website… if you do not want to be involved or ‘come forward’ to ensure that this man is put away for all the crimes he has committed over the years, i would use caution posting more information about other offenses of this nature he has committed. word in the hallways now is that there are others coming forward…very good chance this website is being monitored. Perhaps coming forward WOULD help you close this chapter FOR GOOD… you have remorse for what you werent able to do years ago.. it is NEVER too late.

I am absolutely shocked by this. I know this woman and have worked in the same hospital as she. She is a critical care nurse and has saved countless lives. I cannot wrap my mind around how she came to be part of this. In looking at her photo, I noticed how dead her eyes look… dissociated… split off… nobody home. What the hell happened to her?

  49. Anonymous on November 19, 2013 at 4:50 pm

Calvert County people never cease to amaze me with how often you go out of your way to prove your own stereotype. Innocent until proven guilty and be careful with what you are saying here, because one day it may be you fighting to defend your side. What ever happens or happened, to one child or the other, lives have been forever torn apart. So stop judging and picking on the police or who you think these people are, you don’t know them. Remember 4 Duke LAX players were accused of raping a girl, and people like you all tried them based on what you read in a headline. The LAX coach was fired from Duke University, they kids were expelled, their parents spent thousands in defending them, and what do you know? The woman made it all up. So be careful, Calvert County and stop being so uneducated.

This is why we all must keep in mind that police officers are bad people too. They are treated as if they are higher than us yet some are horrible people! I think it is so messed up that County and State police charge people with crimes they didn’t even commit and then they go home to do heinous things like this. This guy probably spent years arresting people for false Dui, traffic offenses and petty crimes all the while molesting his own daughter. I wish the judicial system would stop treating these lying pieces of crap like royalty, even manipulating and hiding evedence at trials just to say these abusive cops are right. There are bad cops out there!!! This is why our judicial system makes me so very angry! It fails so many good people and holds these cops on a high pedestal! So he left his wife to live with a woman who was a pervert and a sociopath like him? I bet she enjoyed seeing him defile his daughter from his marriage! Coward would not even go to trial even though he has probably imprisoned so many!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • James on September 28, 2014 at 9:44 pm
