Hospice of Charles County Unveils the Inaugural Tree of Reflection

December 11, 2013

Dove OrnamentHospice of Charles County brings the Tree of Reflection to the Hospice House, encouraging the resident of the county to “Cherish the Memories” this holiday season.

For the first time in its 30 year history, the Hospice of Charles County is unveiling a limited edition ornament to celebrate the memory of loved ones this holiday season. This dove ornament, the symbol of Hospice of Charles County, is beautifully engraved with the words “Cherish the Memories 2013”. In addition, each ornament can be decorated with a ribbon dedicated to the memory of a loved one.

These ornaments will hang on the Tree of Reflection, located in the lobby of the Hospice House of Charles County throughout the holiday season. Invitations will be sent to families and loved ones, inviting them back to the Hospice House to retrieve their ornaments in a small ceremony and enjoy the beautiful ornament on their tree at home. During this gathering, they will have a chance to have a “personal moment of reflection” as they retrieve their ornament from the tree.

All proceeds from the Tree of Reflection and ornaments will directly benefit the Hospice of Charles County and allow the staff to continue to best serve the residents of Charles County. To purchase your dove ornament, contact Hospice House of Charles County at 301-861-5300.
