Margaret Ann Brock, of Mechanicsville, MD, died peacefully on February 20, 2017. She was born September 13, 1925 in Benedict, MD. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Ella Welch and was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Russell Brock, Jr.
She worked for the federal government: Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Naval Research Lab, and retired from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Bay St. Louis, MS. In addition, she was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters, including her twin. She is survived by four sons Danny Montgomery, Timothy Brock, Sr., Eddie Brock (Sara) and Greg Brock (Faye); her grandchildren Jessica, Timmy, Christopher, Kimberly, Cara, Samuel Jay; great grandchildren Cameron, Hayden, Landon, Dalton and Henry; special niece Louise Morgan and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends for Margaret’s visitation on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 10-11AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM with Father Michael Tietjen officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, Charlotte Hall, MD.
Pallbearers will be: Timmy Brock, Christopher Brock, Samuel Jay Brock, Charlie Garner, Kyle Welch and David Windsor.
