Passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Wife of the late, Henry Holmes. Mother of Phyllis (Gregory) Lee and Joseph (Tammy) Holmes, Sr.; grandmother of Valerie Lee, Thomas and Chelsea Whitehurst, Joseph, Jr., Jaylan, and Justin Holmes, and the late Reverend Deborah “Chinaza” Lee; sister of Gregory Vaughn. Also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Family and friends will unite on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at St. John Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 2801 Stanton Rd. SE, Washington, DC. Interment immediately following at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
