Lillian A. Boyden, a homemaker and resident of BelAlton, MD, she peacefully passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 92.
Lillian survived by her late husband Charles “Neal” Boyden; her son Harry Boyden(Bonnie), her daughter Patsy Montgomery, her grandchildren Raymond Boyden(Stefani), Maggie Boyden, Melissa “Missi” Wood (Kevin), Krissy Davidson (Mark) and her great grandchildren Caleigh Wood, Angela Davidson, Blaine Boyden, Charles ‘Porky” Davidson, Brylee and Brynn Boyden and her Great-Great Grandson Cayson Tyler Wood-Allosada. Lillian was born in St Mary’s County MD on October 26, 1928 to late Edward and Elizabeth Burch. She meant her sweetheart Neal Boyden when he moved from Ohio to Maryland to work on a farm in Bel Alton MD. They were married on March 3, 1946 and had two children Harry and Patsy. Her children and grandchildren were her world.
She was a lifetime member of the BelAlton VFD Ladies Auxiliary and worked many dinners and functions to serve the public. She loved to play Bingo and went to the VFW in BelAlton to dance. She had a green thumb and could grow pretty much anything in her greenhouse. There wasn’t much she couldn’t cook; she was known for her fried chicken and bread pudding. If it was Charles County Fair time you could always find her at the barns from the time her kids were growing up in 4-H with their animals to the next generation of all her grandkids in 4-H. She will be deeply missed and loved by all that knew her and welcomed with open arms by her husband Neal.
A funeral service is scheduled for December 11th, 2020 at 900am to 1100am-Visitation and 1100am service. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf. Flowers are welcomed and if you wished to donate to the Charles County Fair.
