Frances Jacqueline “Jackie” Goldsborough Bond, 87, of Leonardtown, MD formerly from Hollywood, MD passed away on May 19, 2021 at her home.
She was born on November 20, 1933 in Leonardtown, MD and was the daughter of the late Susan Combs Goldsborough and Jack Goldsborough. Jackie was the loving wife of the late John Douglas Bond whom she married on May 15, 1954 in Our Lady’s Church at Medley’s Neck Leonardtown, MD and preceded her in death on November 18, 1991. Jackie is survived by her children Doug Bond of Fredericksburg, VA, Susan (Bond) Dean (Dale) of Hollywood, MD, Kathy (Bond) Hayden (Hank) of Hollywood, MD, Tom Bond (Marian Mitchell) of Minnetonka, MN, Jack Bond of Hollywood, MD, and Duke Bond (Denise Cople) of Plano, TX. Along with her grandchildren Karen Mumford, Simon Dean, Robby Hayden, Julie Lowthert, Evalina Bond, John Walker Bond, Julia Bond, Emily bond, Jake Bond and Delila Bond. Great grandchildren Dylan Mumford, Breannea Dean, Jamie Dean, Ashley Hayden, Brooke Hayden, Chase Hayden and Eli Lowthert. Great-Great Grandchildren Jaxon Lowe and Bryson Tucker. She was preceded in death by her siblings Ann Combs Goldsborough and Frank Combs Goldsborough.
She was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1952. Jackie attended Immaculata College and Strayer Business School in Washington, DC. She was a Management Analyst for the Federal Government at Patuxent River Naval Air Station from 1956 to 1993; retiring after 37 years.
Jackie enjoyed dancing, especially square dancing, and water aerobics. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Hollywood, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in St. John’s Catholic Church Hollywood, MD; where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Father Raymond Schmidt officiating, and Deacon Ammon Ripple Con Celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery California, MD. Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Bond, Dale Dean, John (Hank) Hayden, Tom Bond, Jack Bond, and Duke Bond.
