Donald Paul Ludwig, 67 of Bowie, MD passed away on May 12, 2022 at his residence.
He was born on March 16, 1955 in Leonardtown, MD to the late Paul Francis Ludwig and Catherine Eulalia (Lawrence) Ludwig.
Donald was a kind man who enjoyed various hobbies. He was passionate about music; he loved listening to his favorite song- Yellow Submarine by the Beatles. He enjoyed being outdoors hiking which he often did with his father. He was a student at The Benedictine School in Ridgely, MD where he enjoyed interacting with his peers and teachers. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Leonardtown, MD.
He is survived by his siblings, Mary Sandra Serrano (Gabriel) of Ventura, CA, Lawrence B. Ludwig (Mary) of Leonardtown, MD, and David Joseph Ludwig of Ridge, MD; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Colvin (Michael), Tara Anglin, Stephen Fulks, Christina Lunde (Eric), Gabriel Serrano, Armando Serrano (Lisa), Sara Ballard (Kyle), and Megan Ludwig.
Family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church cemetery.
