The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission (MetCom) has partnered with the St. Mary’s County Government to enhance the easy-to-use online non-emergency service portal for citizens to report issues or problems.
The 311 interface now allows the public to submit a request for a variety of non-emergency categories associated with public water and sewer related issues in both web and mobile platforms. It offers a large map for easy viewing and provides users with the ability to follow other submitted requests.
Additionally, users can also add comments and pictures to any request.
“We are excited to be able to offer this new platform to the citizens of St. Mary’s County,” said George Erichsen, MetCom’s Executive Director. “311 will help the Commission provide a faster and more effective response to citizen reported issues and was a result of excellent collaboration with St. Mary’s County Government.”
311 is a free service to the public. Citizens may access 311 by clicking the 311 icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the front page of MetCom’s website at www.metcom.org to Report a Problem or by scanning the QR code picture below.
To track the progress of your request, be sure to include your email address to receive email status updates until the issue is resolved.
