BREAKING: Multiple Children Injured After Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Occupied School Bus in Bryantown

UPDATE 3/24/2026 @ 4:45 P.M.: Emergency medical services have transported a 34-year-old female, a 11-year-old female, 6-year-old male, 7-year-old and two other children, all to an area hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Police are investigating the motor vehicle collision.

3/24/2026: On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the intersection of Edelen Drive and Edelen Court in Bryantown, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a school bus with injuries.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle collision and confirmed an occupied school bus was involved.

Firefighters and emergency medical services are on scene reporting 28 children on the bus and the adult operator.

Five children and one adult are being evaluated for injuries.

EMS have transported a 11-year-old female and a 6-year-old male to an area hospital with School board representatives riding with, and also on scene.
