Two Maryland State Troopers are being credited with saving the life of a choking infant in Southern Maryland this past weekend.
While handling an unrelated call in Lusby on Saturday, Trooper First Class Taylor Hersh and Corporal Jonathan Stoltzfus were approached by a frantic mother whose infant was choking.
The troopers immediately sprang into action, performing life-saving measures and successfully clearing the child’s airway.
Their swift response and training proved critical, preventing what could have been a tragic outcome.
TFC Hersh and Cpl. Stoltzfus are being recognized for their decisive actions and commitment to public safety.
