The SOMD Cars & Coffee season opener is set to kick off Sunday morning, March 29, 2026, bringing car enthusiasts from across Southern Maryland together for the start of another season.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Laurel Glen Shopping Center, located at 45315 Alton Lane in California, Maryland. Hosted by Pro Gloss Auto Solutions, a local business known for paint protection services, the gathering has become a staple for the region’s automotive community.
Attendees can expect a wide variety of vehicles on display, along with a featured vendor, MadByrd Confections, serving fresh hot donuts during the event.
Organizers are reminding participants that the event is intended to be family-friendly and community-focused. Strict rules will be enforced, including no burnouts, no revving engines, and no reckless driving. Parking in designated coned-off areas is also prohibited. (photos below)
