Tiffany Erin Lewis, 48, of York, Pennsylvania, is facing multiple drug-related charges following an incident in Prince Frederick on March 24, 2026, according to court documents.

Lewis has been charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance not cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.

According to charging documents, deputies were dispatched to the 7-Eleven on Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick for a report of a suspicious person. A caller reported “a male acting ‘strange’ near [a] blue 2020 Chevrolet Blazer,” prompting officers to respond.

Deputies observed the vehicle leaving the area and followed it through several lane changes before it turned into a nearby shopping center. Court documents state, “This driving pattern is common in people who are attempting to evade police detection.”

Once parked, deputies observed the driver behaving erratically. According to the report, the driver was “flailing his arms around and jumping around erratically,” behavior the officer noted was consistent with someone under the influence of drugs.

Lewis was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. Deputies reported that she was initially slumped over in the seat and later told officers she had a headache. During the interaction, officers observed items in the vehicle consistent with drug use, including burned copper material.

A search of the vehicle was conducted. According to court records, Lewis asked to retrieve a pill bottle from inside the vehicle. Officers instead retrieved the bottle and searched it, finding a rolled-up dollar bill and a clear capsule containing what was identified as methamphetamine.

Additional items were found in the vehicle, including a hollow pen body with residue. Investigators stated these items are commonly associated with drug use.

According to court documents, another individual in the vehicle told deputies that the methamphetamine belonged to Lewis. When interviewed, Lewis confirmed ownership, telling officers the substance was hers and that she “commonly snorts, or uses the insufflation method, to ingest her Methamphetamine.”

Authorities reported that approximately six grams of methamphetamine were recovered from a plastic bag, along with an additional two grams in a capsule.

Lewis was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center and later released on her own recognizance. The other individual was released without charges.

A court date is scheduled for May 11, 2026, in Calvert District Court.
