On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at approximately 4:55 p.m., firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the 22000 block of Chickahominy Road in Bushwood, for the reported house on fire.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a two-story residence with fire showing from the eaves and roof.
Firefighters from Seventh District quickly responded with Engine 52, Tanker 5, and Engine Tanker 54. Crews made entry to find fire on the second floor and extinguished the fire within 20 minutes.
All searches of the residence were negative.
No injuries were reported.
The Office the Maryland State Fire Marshal responded to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
