On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 12:35 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of Three Notch Road and Murphy Court in Mechanicsville, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a commercial vehicle.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a loaded flatbed commercial vehicle that had left the roadway and collided with several unoccupied shed displays, and confirmed the single occupant was not trapped.
Upon EMS evaluating the patient and consulting with an area trauma center. The patient was transported by ambulance to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.
Police are investigating the motor vehicle collision.
