On Sunday, April 19, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of Three Notch Road and Cedar Grove Street in Mechanicsville, for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle involved, with an off-duty detective on scene requesting a helicopter.
Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 7 has been pre-launched to land nearby due to the victim sustaining serious injuries.
Three Notch Road is CLOSED (unknown which direction at this time) Expect extended delays and use caution in the area.
