Jared Seth Sparkman, 25, of Hampton, Virginia
Jared Seth Sparkman, 25, of Hampton, Virginia, has been charged with disorderly conduct and intoxicated public disturbance following an incident in Solomons on April 19, 2026, according to court documents.
The charges were filed after deputies with the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a situation at a business on Charles Street in Solomons. According to a statement of probable cause, deputies were already at the Tiki Bar for an unrelated investigation when Sparkman was identified as one of the individuals involved.
Court documents state that Sparkman had been advised to leave the establishment and was escorted out by security. Shortly after, deputies observed him attempting to jump a fence in front of the business to regain entry. Deputies again instructed him to leave the area.
According to the report, Sparkman was later seen walking back toward the business and was again ordered to leave. Deputies reported that he then walked up steps to a nearby closed business before officers approached him and placed him under arrest.
Authorities charged Sparkman with disorderly conduct, described in court documents as “did wilfully act in disorderly manner to the disturbance of the public peace,” and intoxicated public disturbance, described as “did being intoxicated in public place, and cause public disturbance.”
Following his arrest, Sparkman was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center. Officials noted that the incident was captured on deputies’ body-worn cameras.
In a separate initial appearance report, Sparkman was released on personal recognizance and ordered to comply with several conditions, including appearing in court as required and not returning to the Tiki Bar on Charles Street.
Court records show that Sparkman waived his right to an attorney for the initial appearance, with documents stating the waiver was made “knowingly and voluntarily.”
