Rayvon Anthony Walls, 35, of Indian Head
Rayvon Anthony Walls, 35, of Indian Head, is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and carrying a loaded handgun on his person following a shooting inside a Bryans Road lounge, according to court documents.
The charges stem from an incident reported on April 19, 2026, at the “1313 Lounge” on Indian Head Highway in Charles County. Deputies with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to the location for a reported shooting and found that a fight had broken out inside the business, with those involved leaving before officers arrived. Investigators located two spent shell casings inside the building.
According to court records, Walls was working as security at the establishment at the time of the incident. He was identified by witnesses and later transported to a sheriff’s office district station for questioning.
During the investigation, an adult male victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was described as conscious but uncooperative with investigators. Medical personnel determined the gunshot entered the victim’s cheek and exited through the top of his head. Due to the severity of the injuries, the victim was transported by helicopter to another medical center for further treatment.
A witness told investigators they were inside the business for a party when the victim became ill and went outside multiple times. According to the witness, Walls, who was working as a bouncer, told the victim not to go outside, which led to an argument. The witness stated, “They began arguing and the accused punched the victim in the face,” and added that “a fight ensued and a second suspect began assaulting the victim.”
The witness further reported that Walls “drew a handgun and pointed it at the victim and other party goers, ordering them to the ground.” The statement continued that another individual also produced a firearm, and “they continued fighting on the ground and then multiple gunshots were fired.” The witness stated they saw the victim shot in the face before running outside to call police.
Investigators reported that two shell casings recovered at the scene—one .45 caliber and one 9mm—indicated that two different firearms were discharged. Witnesses told deputies they observed only two individuals with guns, and Walls was seen pointing a firearm at patrons inside the bar, according to charging documents.
Following his arrest, Walls was ordered held without bond. As part of court-ordered conditions, he is not permitted to contact the adult male victim or possess any weapons while the case is pending.
The case remains open in the District Court for Charles County.
