Road Worker Flown to Trauma Center After Being Struck by Vehicle in White Plains

On Friday, May 1, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of 10105 Marshalls Corner Road in White Plains, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

911 callers reported a adult male road worker was struck, and thrown over a vehicle.

Crews arrived on the scene to find the 45-year-old male suffering multiple broken bones and injuries to the head and face.

A helicopter was requested to land nearby due to his injuries.

Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 2 landed nearby and transported the patient to the MedStar Washington Hospital Center with serious injuries.

Police are investigating the motor vehicle collision.

This is the fourth serious crash resulting in transport to a trauma center in under 24 hours in Charles County.
