The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and a full lineup of military and civilian aviation performers are scheduled to take to the skies during the 2026 Pax River Air Show, set for Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
The free, public event will feature the Blue Angels, the F-16 Viper Demo Team, Larry Kelley’s B-25 “Panchito,” Greg Colyer’s Ace Maker, RJ Gritter, Mike Goulian, and the Scott Yoak and Jim Tobul “Class of ’45,” along with additional aerial demonstrations, static aircraft displays, food and drink vendors, and a children’s zone.
NAS Patuxent River, located in St. Mary’s County where the Patuxent River meets the Chesapeake Bay, covers more than 14,500 acres and is known as a major center for naval aviation testing and development.
Admission to the air show is free. VIP Flight Line Experience and preferred seating options are expected to be available as paid add-ons.
Friday, June 19, 2026 – Base Access Day/Practice Performance – The Friday practice show will be open to all with regular base access to Pax River and authorized attendees only. CAC holders, military retirees, employees, and residents of Pax River can enjoy the full Pax River Air Show performance that day and beat the crowds.
- 9 AM Gates open to authorized attendees, command static displays open
- 11 AM Practice show begins
- 3:30 PM Blue Angels walk/performance
- 4:30 PM Practice show ends
- *Note: Not all attractions, vendors, static displays, or other participants of the air show will be available for the practice show.

- Gates open to the public at 9 a.m., with static displays opening at the same time.
- The air show is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
- The Blue Angels walkdown and performance are scheduled for 3 p.m., with the team expected to land at 4:30 p.m.
- The air show is scheduled to conclude at 4:45 p.m.
