Man Flown to Trauma Center After Motorcycle Crash in California

On Sunday, June 7, 2026, at approximately 5:35 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to Three Notch Road and Town Creek Drive in California, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a single motorcyclist laying in the roadway after striking a SUV from behind.

Firefighters found the operator going in and out of consciousness and requested a helicopter to land nearby.

Maryland State Police Aviation Command launched Trooper 7 and landed nearby, while a flight medic drove to the scene to assist providers.

Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded and are investigating the collision.

No occupants from the other involved vehicles were injured.

Trooper 7 transported the adult male patient to an area trauma center with serious injuries.
