The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to 1,530 calls for service during the week of June 1 through June 7, 2026.
According to the agency’s weekly Crime and Safety Report, deputies made 47 adult arrests, including 10 on-view arrests, 26 warrant arrests, and 11 criminal summonses.
Deputies also conducted 334 traffic stops during the week, issuing 111 citations and making three DUI arrests.
The Sheriff’s Office reported 63 traffic accidents, including 14 crashes with injuries and 49 crashes with no injuries.
Criminal case reports for the week included:
- 23 assault reports
- 6 breaking-and-entering motor vehicle reports
- 2 burglary reports
- 4 fraud reports
- 2 motor vehicle theft reports
- 1 robbery report
The Sheriff’s Office also reminded residents that certain non-emergency crimes can be reported online through the agency’s Digital Online Reporting System. Eligible reports include fraud, identity theft, lost property, hit-and-run crashes, single-vehicle crashes, and vandalism.
