The mowers are heading back to Bowles Farms for another weekend of racing, family fun, and community support.
The 20th Annual St. Mary’s County National Lawn Mower Races will take place on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Bowles Farms, located at 22880 Budds Creek Road in Clements, Maryland, near the intersection of Route 234 and Pin Cushion Road.
This year marks a major milestone for the event: 20 years of racing and 20 years of giving back to the community.
The two-day event will feature lawn mower racing, food and refreshments, family-friendly activities, and community fun. The event is rain or shine. Children ages 8 and under are admitted free.
- Friday, July 31, 2026 – Gates open: 4:00 p.m., Trial runs: 5:00 p.m., with Racing starting at 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, August 1, 2026 – Gates open: 3:00 p.m., trial runs: 4:00 p.m. with racing starting at 6:00 p.m.
Admission is $10 per person, with children 8 and under free. No coolers are permitted.
The event is brought to the community by the 7th District Rescue Squad and the 7th District Optimist Club.
